Terrazzo restoration and polishing
Terrazzo was made to be renewed. Under the wax, the wear and the decades, the aggregate is intact — and grinding, filling and polishing bring the whole field back to one continuous sheen.
South Florida sits on some of the finest mid-century terrazzo in the country — and most of it is hiding under decades of wax. Most tired terrazzo suffers from three things: coats of yellowed wax and finish that were mopped on for years, lippage where slab sections have settled out of plane, and chips or divots where something heavy landed. The stone chips inside the matrix rarely wear out; it’s everything layered on top, and the unevenness between panels, that makes a terrazzo floor look old.
We strip the field to bare terrazzo, grind the lippage flat so light stops catching on the seams, and fill chips and holes with epoxy matched to both the matrix color and the aggregate. From there the floor is honed and polished wall to wall as one surface, then sealed. The result is the classic terrazzo look — a continuous, glassy field of stone — without a drop of wax to maintain.

Old wax, coatings and settled lippage come off with metal-bond diamonds, taking the whole field down to one flat, honest plane.
Epoxy repair
Chips, divots and cracks are filled with epoxy matched to matrix and aggregate, so repairs disappear into the field instead of announcing themselves.
Wall-to-wall polish
The floor is honed and polished as a single surface and sealed — a continuous sheen that needs a dust mop, not a waxing schedule.
