Limestone and its close cousin travertine are soft, porous and honest: they show every year of use — and they are everywhere in South Florida, from pool decks to living rooms. Heels and grit wear paths into the surface, spills soak in before you can reach them, and travertine’s natural voids open up and collect dark grime. Aggressive polishing is the wrong answer — it flattens the stone’s warmth into something it was never meant to be.
Our approach is conservative. We hone the surface level with fine diamonds, fill open voids and pits with color-matched repair, and lift embedded staining with poultices suited to calcareous stone. Then we protect it with a penetrating, vapor-open sealer that guards the pores without adding plastic gloss — the stone keeps its soft, matte hand, just uniform and clean again.

Open travertine voids, pits and chips are filled with color-matched material, so the surface reads continuous instead of pocked.
