Terrazzo and stone care in Biscayne Park

Biscayne Park is a few dozen shaded blocks of thirties-to-fifties houses around a log cabin, and it likes itself that way. We work in the village the way the village works: quietly, one house at a time, on floors that deserve to stay.

01

Ranches with original floors

Along Griffing Boulevard and the medians, most houses still stand on their first terrazzo or hold it under later carpet and laminate. We uncover, grind, repair and polish, and the fifties floor comes back as the best surface in the house.

02

What the canopy does to stone

The oaks that make the village beautiful also keep it damp. Steps, walkways and patios grow mildew and black film in the shade. We clean them with methods that do not scar the stone, then seal so rain and shade have less to work with.

03

Small village, quiet work

This is not a place for a loud, careless crew. We contain dust at the machine, keep the site tidy, park considerately and finish on the day we said. Neighbors tend to find out we were there from the floor, not the noise.
